Sacrificial Anodes are metals that are used to prevent other metals from corroding. Our inline anode uses zinc anode secured already secured in a pvc T ready for installation. Once installed, the sacrificial anode will be consumed inplace of the metal it is protecting which is why it is referred to as a “sacrificial” anode.
