Why accurate testing matters (especially with CYA)
Most pool problems arent caused by bad chlorine theyre caused by inaccurate testing.
When cyanuric acid (CYA) builds up, many test strips can still look normal even when your chlorine is far less effective than it appears. Thats why pools can turn cloudy or develop algae even though the strip says youre fine and why people often end up adding more chemicals than they actually need.
