The Pentair Legend Back-Up Valve (E10) is the OEM replacement back-up valve for the Pentair Legend automatic pool cleaner line. This is the White version confirm the color of your existing valve before ordering.
IMPORTANT: CONFIRM COLOR BEFORE ORDERING
This listing is for the White back-up valve only. The Legend cleaner has been produced with different colored components across production runs. Match the color of your existing back-up valve before adding to cart.
The back-up valve on the Legend automatic pool cleaner controls the periodic reverse-thrust cycle that prevents the cleaner from becoming stuck in corners or along pool walls. When the valve fails or degrades, the cleaner loses its ability to redirect itself, resulting in repeated stalling in the same area of the pool. Replacing this valve restores the cleaner’s full random-pattern coverage.

Pro Tip
Before ordering, physically remove the back-up valve from your Legend cleaner and match both the part number and the color to this listing. The part number is typically molded into the valve body. If the valve body shows cracking, warping, or the timing cycle has shortened noticeably, replace the valve at this service interval rather than waiting for complete failure to avoid repeated stalling mid-cycle.
