The Pentair Direct Air Intake Duct Kit (461031) is the OEM replacement direct-duct combustion air assembly for the MasterTemp pool and spa heater series, enabling outside air to be piped directly to the heater’s combustion air inlet.

This Direct Air Intake Duct Kit is listed for MasterTemp heater models 175/200/250/300/333/400 BTU only. It is not compatible with the MasterTemp 125 (125,000 BTU) heater. Confirm your heater’s BTU rating before ordering.
This kit enables a direct-duct installation configuration for the MasterTemp heater series. When an enclosed or low-ventilation equipment room cannot supply adequate combustion air from the surrounding space, ducting outside air directly to the heater’s combustion air inlet is required. The 461031 kit provides the components necessary to make that connection, allowing the burner to draw fresh combustion air from outdoors independently of the equipment room environment.
