The turbine kit was created to be the operating mechanism that powers the cleaners ability to maneuver around the surfaces of the pool as it sucks and pulls dirt and debris into the filtration system. As the turbine rotates it creates the motion needed for thea-framesto move back and forth in opposite directions which moves thepodsandpod shoesthe same way creating the pattern needed for the cleaner to move.
This part is black and comes with two same-colored (black) bearings that aid in the movement of the turbine as well as the suction created by theHoseit’s attached to on the wall of the pool. The turbine rests in grooves that are on opposite sides of thelower middle bodythat holds the turbine in place. You want to make sure you have the turbine positioned correctly meaning the fans need to be facing the right way or else the cleaner will not operate correctly.
