The Grizzly T33957 violin kit is an unfinished instrument project designed for musicians, hobbyists, and woodworkers who want to build a personalized violin. It combines traditional tonewoods with decorative details, making it a practical build and a visually distinctive piece.
This kit features a solid spruce front with solid fiddleback maple sides and back, along with a maple neck and scroll. A Borneo ironwood fingerboard, poplar purfling, and matching chin rest, pegs, and tailpiece add refined character, while the preinstalled sound post hole helps simplify the assembly process.
Ideal for anyone who enjoys hands-on instrument making, this 23-inch violin kit offers the foundation for a custom finish and a unique final result. It also includes an ironwood bow and rosin so the instrument can be played once assembly is complete.
