This Retainer Nut is 5/16-18″ Stainless Steel, and is designed to fasten to the Tie Rod inside your Hayward ProGrid DE Filter Tank. Replace this Retainer Nut whenever it is worn down or stripped and no longer able to thread onto the Tie Rod.
