The G E LIGHTING 17705 is a T8 fluorescent lamp rated at 18 watts, producing 1225 lumens of cool white light at 4150 Kelvin. Measuring 24 inches in length with a 1-inch diameter, this bulb carries an F24T8CW4 designation and is designed for preheat fluorescent fixture systems. It features a medium bi-pin base and a rated lamp life of 7500 hours. Licensed electricians and facility maintenance technicians install this lamp type in commercial and light industrial fixtures where consistent, neutral-toned illumination is required.
This lamp is suited for preheat-type fluorescent fixtures in commercial offices, retail spaces, schools, and similar interior environments. The 4150K color temperature renders a cool white appearance appropriate for task lighting and general ambient use. A Color Rendering Index of 62 makes it suitable for general illumination where color accuracy is not the primary requirement. The medium bi-pin base is a standard interface across a wide range of T8 preheat ballast fixtures.
