Android AOA

The UTE-73BT offers Android AOA (Android Open Accessory) 2.0 when used with a compatible Android™ smartphone through the USB connection. The AOA connection provides bettemusic and sound control compared to basic Bluetooth® audio streaming.

BLUETOOTH HANDS-FREE CALLING

Don’t get caught holding youphone while driving. The UTE-73BT is equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology so you can carry on youphone conversations without additional adapters oheadpieces.

This unit comes with all that’s needed foBluetooth convenience. The UTE-73BT comes with a tuned microphone that’s engineered to reduce noise interference and feedback. This allows optimal placement in youcar, fothe best possible sound quality.

MAKING, TAKING CALLS & CALL WAITING

Making and taking phone calls has nevebeen more convenient. You can set up youcell phone/head unit to automatically answeyoucalls. Use the supplied microphone to speak, and then listen through youcar’s speakers. When a call comes in, youmusic mutes to carry the phone call. View calleinformation including CalleID, Missed, Dialed, and Received calls right from the head unit display. This truly makes the transition from youphone calls to music enjoyable and convenient.

HANDS-FREE CALLING SOUND CUSTOMIZATION

To bring sound balance to youhands-free experience, you can adjust the UTE-73BT’s mic gain, phone output and ringtone volume. If that’s not enough, there are two sound quality settings to choose from to get the balance just right foyou. This flexibility will make youphone calls a pleasurable experience.

AUDIO STREAMING HAS NEVER BEEN EASIER

Do you have a large music library on youBluetooth-enabled smartphone? The UTE-73BT can stream and control yousmartphone’s music via Bluetooth wireless technology. Want to listen to music from youiPhone without plugging-in? Stream youmusic via the Bluetooth connection. Whetheyou have music on youiPhone locally, on iTunes Match, oselect third-party audio apps, the UTE-73BT can stream youtunes. If you have an Android smartphone, the UTE-73BT is compatible with Android AOA (Android Open Accessory) 2.0. Use the USB connection to access AOA fobettesound and control ovebasic Bluetooth® audio streaming. These functions are delivered through the faceplate keys.

STEERING WHEEL CONTROL

If youcahas factory Bluetooth steering wheel controls, then it will also control youUTE-73BT’s built-in Bluetooth functions. Or, control the UTE-73BT from youfactory-installed steering wheel controls by adding a third-party adapter. Use an adaptefrom populabrand names such as Axxess oPAC to add this feature. The UTE-73BT is also compatible with the RUE-4202 Wireless Remote Control (sold separately).

MADE FOR IPOD® AND IPHONE®

It’s convenient to control youiPod oiPhone music in the ca(requires the KCU-445i, sold separately). The USB connection allows fohigh-quality iPod oiPhone music playback so you can enjoy youmusic library while on the road.

The UTE-73BT can display song name, artist name, and radio station name if this data is broadcasted by the radio station.

CHARGE YOUR PHONE

Standard in-vehicle solutions may drain the battery of youphone but with the UTE-73BT, youphone charges via the USB cable (sold separately) so you can enjoy music and poweyouphone at the same time.

Whetheyou have an iPhone oAndroid smartphone, Alpine gives you full control of Pandora straight from youdash. Whetheyou connect through the USB port ostream wirelessly, you can enjoy youfavorite Pandora channels with Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down buttons directly on the faceplate, along with QuickSearch features. Alpine’s DSP-Sound Expansion circuitry ensures the best possible sound from the Pandora connection.
